In this tutorial, we use **Delta Exchange API Copilot with Claude Code / Lovable AI** to build an AI-powered **BTC & ETH Options Contract Selector** without manually writing code.

With this tool, you can:

- Select **BTC or ETH**

- Choose **Option Buying, Option Selling, Straddle or Strangle**

- Set your market view: **Bullish, Bearish or Neutral**

- Choose your expected holding period

- Compare available expiries

- Analyse **Theta, IV, OI, volume and bid-ask spreads**

- Get a recommended **expiry and strike**

- View alternative contracts

- Prepare a trade ticket and place limit orders directly

The tool scans the available option chain and ranks contracts based on factors such as **holding-period fit, theta, liquidity, IV, spreads and Delta** , helping you compare contracts instead of simply choosing the nearest expiry.

**The workflow**

Use **Delta Exchange API Copilot** to generate the required API specification → Copy the complete prompt into **Claude Code or Lovable AI** → Build and test the Options Contract Selector → Select your strategy, market view and holding period → Scan the chain → Review the suggested expiry and strike → Prepare the trade ticket.
