CRYPTO NEWS

1. U.S. Markets, Inflation and Fed Outlook
U.S. markets remained volatile as softer inflation data supported rate-sensitive assets, while higher oil prices revived inflation concerns. Headline CPI fell 0.4% month-on-month, core inflation eased to 2.6% annually, and PPI declined 0.3%. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh maintained a data-dependent stance, while consumer sentiment improved to 54.4 from 49.5.

2. Global Macro, Oil and Geopolitical Risk
Renewed U.S.–Iran tensions and uncertainty around the Strait of Hormuz pushed Brent crude above $90 before negotiation hopes triggered a reversal. Higher energy prices lifted inflation expectations, pushed the U.S. 10-year yield toward 4.55% and the 30-year yield above 5%.

3. Gold and Silver
Gold remained volatile around $4,000 per ounce as safe-haven demand competed with higher yields and rate-hike expectations. Silver experienced larger swings because of its industrial exposure, recovering toward $56.91 but remaining sensitive to technology-sector weakness and rising real yields.

4. U.S. Stocks, AI and Semiconductor Assets
Semiconductor and AI stocks led the market decline as investors questioned stretched valuations and rising capital expenditure. TSMC reported strong AI-driven earnings, but higher spending and margin concerns pressured TSM, NVDA, AMD, INTC, MU, SNDK, ARM, MRVL, WDC, SK Hynix, SOXL and DRAM-linked assets.

Apple showed relative strength, while Alphabet, Tesla and Intel earnings remained major catalysts for technology stocks.

Strategy faced scrutiny over potential Bitcoin sales, while Coinbase, Robinhood and Circle mainly tracked crypto sentiment.

5. Crypto Markets and Altcoins
Bitcoin remained range-bound around $62,000–$65,000, supported by softer inflation but capped by higher oil prices, bond yields and geopolitical risk. Ether showed relative strength as ETF demand improved. Ether showed relative strength against Bitcoin during parts of the week, supported by better ETF flows. However, altcoin participation remained selective rather than broad enough to confirm a genuine altcoin season.

6. Bitcoin and Ether ETF Fund Flows
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a large initial outflow followed by four positive sessions, ending with approximately $75.5 million in weekly net inflows. BlackRock’s IBIT led with roughly $204 million.

Spot Ether ETFs recorded approximately $105.5 million in net inflows, outperforming Bitcoin ETFs. BlackRock’s ETHA led demand, while Fidelity’s FETH recorded the largest notable outflow.

7. On-Chain and Institutional Crypto Developments
Glassnode reported that Bitcoin’s recovery lacked strong spot-market conviction. Spot volume declined around 21.5%, cumulative volume delta turned negative, and network activity remained subdued.

Long-term-holder selling showed signs of easing, but meaningful demand had not fully returned. The short-term-holder cost basis near $69,000 remained a major resistance level. Options positioning suggested reduced downside fear, although traders continued to maintain protection.
