- On 25th April, the global crypto market cap was $2.96T, a 2.68% increase over the last day. The total crypto market volume over the last 24 hours is $94.76B, which makes a 9.31% decrease. Bitcoin’s dominance is currently 63.4%, a decrease of 0.01% over the day. (Source: Coinmarketcap)
- Strategy bought 6,556 bitcoin last week using money raised from stock sales.The company now owns 538,200 bitcoin, bought for a total of $36.47 billion.At current prices, Strategy’s bitcoin is worth around $46.8 billion — giving it a paper profit of about $10 billion. (Source: theblock.com)
- On 22nd Apr ,U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs saw $936 million in net inflows, which is the largest since Jan. 17.Positive flows were seen across 10 bitcoin ETFs led by Ark & 21Shares’ net inflows worth $267.1 million. This was followed by Fidelity’s FBTC seeing $253.8 million inflows, and $193.5 million moving into BlackRock’s IBIT, according to SoSoValue data. Over the last three straight days of positive flows, U.S. bitcoin funds saw net inflows exceeding $1.4 billion. (Source:Yahoo Finance)
- CME Group, the world’s leading derivatives marketplace, announced plans to launch XRP futures on May 19, pending regulatory review.If approved, CME XRP futures would be the fourth straight-up cryptocurrency available on the marketplace, which also lists BTC, ETH and SOL products (Source: marketsmedia)
- Crypto exchange volume falls to 6-month low as traders flee spot for futures.Spot trading is at its lowest level relative to futures trading since August 2024 for Bitcoin and December 2023 for Ethereum. (Source: theblock.news)
